Vocals lessons are built personally to each student's ability and learning style, to develop a sound, vocal technique, keep their voices healthy and develop confidence in performing. Students will increase the range and power of their voice, diction, tone and narrative ability.
Students may collaborate with peers, either vocally or with instrumental accompaniment if they choose to. There will be several music centre performances throughout the year as well as opportunities to perform within the community if they so desire.

- how to use your voice to connect with others
- how to use your voice to express emotions in a way that touches and audience
- mic technique
- performance experience if you want (strongly encouraged)
- how to support yourself mentally to sing with confidence
- how to read music (if you’re interested)
- how to play an instrument and sing at the same time
